Call for papers – Workshop NERI 2019: X Annual Meeting, Rome, 15-16 February 2019.
On the 15th and 16th of February 2019 the Department of Economics and Finance of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy) will host in Rome the X Annual Meeting of the Network on Economics of Regulation and Institutions (NERI).
NERI deals with the economics of regulation, meant in its broadest sense of public intervention aimed at affecting market outcomes, with particular attention to the relationship between regulatory tools and institutions.
This year’s workshop will include an invited session on Regulation of Healthcare Markets. Pau Olivella (Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona) and Odd Rune Straume (University of Minho) have already confirmed their participation.
Submissions
We invite the submission of papers dealing with all the themes included in the interests of NERI. Since the focus of this year’s workshop on healthcare markets , we especially encourage the submission of papers on this theme. Papers should be sent to neri.workshop@gmail.com by the 15th of December 2018. Decisions will be sent out to authors by the 4th of January 2019.
Registration fee and other expenses
The registration fee is 110 euros; it is inclusive of lunch, coffee breaks, dinner and is meant to cover all organizational costs. A limited budget is allocated for waivers of the registration fee of participants facing financial difficulties, with priority given to students and junior fellows (PhD students, post-docs etc.). In any case, all participants will have to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
Any further information on the workshop and other NERI’s activities can be found on our website: http://www.network-neri.net/ .
