Torino, 11-12 dicembre 2025

We are pleased to announce the call for paper for the PhD and early career Workshop in Economics of INnovation, Geography and Science (WINGS#1) is now open.

Building on the legacy of the Workshop in Economics of Innovation, Complexity and Knowledge (WICK), WINGS#1 is a workshop for doctoral students and early career researchers, jointly organized by the PhD in Innovation for the Circular Economy (University of Turin), the Vilfredo Pareto Doctoral Program in Economics (University of Turin & Collegio Carlo Alberto) and the YSI.

The workshop will be held on December 11–12, 2025, in Turin (Italy)

The aim of the workshop is to bring together young researchers from different disciplines and provide them with an opportunity to discuss their work. The main topics of the workshop broadly fall under the Economics of Innovation, Economic Geography and Economics of Science. We encourage participants to apply with works from a wide range of methods and sub-disciplines, fitting into these topics.

The event will feature keynote contributions from Prof. Elvira Uyarra (University of Manchester), Prof. Francesco Rentocchini (University of Milan and EC JRC) and Prof. Valeria Costantini (University of Roma Tre).
